The Amaranth was the flag ship of the King of TowerFall's naval force, captained by the Red Archer, the Vainglorious Ghoul. It was lost to the Dark World where it became corrupted along with its captain and crew.
Gameplay
The Amaranth feature Ghost Platforms which scroll vertically, horizontally and occasionally rotating around a center point. Archers and their arrows can travel upwards through the Ghost Platforms and archers can jump downwards through them by pressing jump whilst ducking.
Wretched Seer - Relentless Gaze of the Abyss
Wretched Seer features in the final level as the boss of the Amaranth when playing in the Dark World mode. It floats in the middle of the level spawning smaller eyes that travel outwards at all angles. It uses a defensive shield to block attacks and fires a lethal laser attack at intervals, capable of sweeping large portions of the level. It is vulnerable to stomping attacks from above when the shield is not protecting it.
